INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

         The Municipal Government of Daet, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) as a Medium A to apply for registration and eligibility, and if found eligible, to bid for the site development of the proposed socialized housing project for teachers under the Build and Transfer Scheme as governed by RA 6975 as amended. More specifically, project payment will be upon completion and release of fund from Pag-ibig Fund as per Fund Commitment Line terms and condition.

         The site development covers pre-engineering and construction of drainage system, pipe laying for water system and road network.

         The Checklist of Registration and Eligibility Requirements will be available to interested bidders for issuance starting January 27, 2010 at the BAC Secretariat, Daet, Camarines Norte. Interested bidders shall submit their letter of intent and their registration and eligibility requirements not later than 12:00 noon on February 2, 2010 and secure the results of the eligibility screening on February 4, 2010.

         Bid documents will be issued to illegible bidders until February 10, 2010 upon payment to the Municipal Treasurer’ Office of a non-refundable amount of Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00). Eligible bidders must attend a pre-bid conference on February 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Office of the Mayor Conference Room, Daet, Camarines Norte. Deadline for the submission of bids is until 12:00 noon of February 23, 2010 at the office of the BAC Secretary. Opening of bids will start at 2:00 p.m. on the same day.

         The Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any minor defects in order to obtain the most advantageous offer to the Municipal Government. The Municipal Government will not compensate nor indemnify bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation and submission of their bid.
